I'm going to keep this short and sweet because I don't enjoy talking about myself. I'm a small town Wisconsin girl - raised on a small dairy farm in the middle of nowhere. I married my husband in 2020 (an adventure!) & gained an 11 y/o stepdaughter. I love to learn new things & I'm always looking for some kind of adventure. I'm extremely girly while at the same time being the complete opposite of girly, if that makes sense!
In my spare time, I'm usually doing yoga, reading books, hiking, playing with my dog, running marathons, practicing whatever new shit I talked myself into trying, re-watching The Big Bang Theory or laughing at my own stupid jokes. Besides being a photographer & my "real job," I am a freelance yoga instructor & a volunteer firefighter on my local Fire Dept.
I prefer books to movies, Nikon over Canon, Apple over Android, John Deere over Case, Toyota over all the rest. I drink my coffee black & I have a huge sweet tooth. What do we all have in common?
You prefer a candid, natural & adventurous style over staged and "been there, done that" posing. Photos always translate better when my clients are having fun living in the moment, and I'll make it my mission to ensure we're doing just that!

You LOVE rich, bold color. I really can't explain how exciting it is for me when I arrive at a shoot & see the perfect sunlight and gorgeous colors already knowing exactly how I'm going to edit later! Yes, that golden sunlight WILL be in your photos!

You love big open spaces, sunrises & sunsets, and beautiful off-the-beaten-path, hike-to scenery.
